6th immigrant found dead in Mt. Kisco

The body of Guatemalan immigrant, Emilio de Jesus Bueso, 37, was discovered in the backyard of a home in Mount Kisco, which is about 40 miles north of New York City.

Local police are investigating the death--one of six mysterious deaths of Guatemalan immigrant men in the Westchester, New York town.

In June, a jury acquitted a local police officer in the death of 42-year-old Guatemalan immigrant Rene Perez, whose body was found on the side of the road in April 2007.

Perhaps, the DOJ should take over these investigations as well.

During a winters day I was once asked on my day off by a co-worker to help in constructing a garage made of natural field stones and clay roof tiles for a gentleman in Westchester. This garage was constructed for 3 vehicles; it had a beautiful curved stairwell leading to an upstairs office with three quarter inch hardwood flooring throughout and a spectacular stone fireplace towering approximately 25 feet high. The garage doors were constructed to resemble a Victoria antique look and every exterior detail was made to match the existing Victorian home. The lawn was imported from Ireland, and while everyone else’s lawn appeared fatigued, pounded and pulverized by the winters cold, this lawn was plush green as though it was springtime in New York, ever wonder where the labor come from?

This guy was a Wall Street self made millionaire, so I later learned. He was accused of having an affair with a known Playboy Bunny. He allegedly gave her insider trading tips and she was later discovered while in the process of implementing her scheme by Federal authorities. She eventually gave up her source. He was later removed from Wall Street, placed on house arrest with an ankle bracelet, removed as chairman from a nearby country club and made to pay back restitution. His garage was finally finished and it resembled a beautiful Victorian home build in the early 1900s. Many other homes in Westchester County, and surrounding counties are just as spectacular; ever wonder where the labor come from, I’ll answer that. Having the pleasure of knowing and witnessing firsthand the many years of construction productivity, and working side by side with these people, I can honestly say the Mexican people, South American Latinos and Italians. Those are the ones responsible for this labor and responsible in helping to beautify, not only this New York County, but many other counties throughout the United States. While attending a Central Florida University, and having a class discussion on illegal immigration, a student who was originally from Los Angeles now residing in Florida, stood up from his chair and courageously stated,

“We need to build a Noah’s Ark, gather up all these Mexicans who are taking our jobs and sending their money back home, and ship them back to their damn country!”

Quite naturally, being of Latino descent, the statement disappointed me and I had to reply accordingly, “Take all the Mexicans, put them on a Noah’s Ark, and ship them back to their damn country? And how do you propose we remove 12 million plus Mexican people who are working and spending their money at your local Wal-Mart stores or supermarkets without having a catastrophic affect on our US, economy?” The majority of immigrants come here with good intentions, they come here to work and seek the same freedom in which all of our ancestors sought before us. Some monetarily provide what little they can to their love ones back home, not to stabilize Mexico’s economy, we leave that to the American families and business corporations who on average spends approximately $10,000 to vacation in Cancun. We in America are so focused on the most ridiculous issues that we lose sense and sight of what’s important, what’s really going on around us and what’s happening to our own American people. Politicians in congress are being given CEO positions throughout our nation’s health care industries and others being promoted to medical directors by many American hospitals simply because they have the gut and lack of remorse to turn away qualifying patients who are terminally ill or possess a so call preexisting condition. We live in the most powerful country in the world, yet London, Panama City, France, Canada and Cuba, are just some of the countries where medical health care is absolutely free. Let’s focus on some of those issues. Criminals, whether from Mexico or Europe, will always be here and will eventually be captured and incarcerated, just like the hundreds of criminals born and bred in this country.
